Hi, I’m Collin Grensing
I’m the photographer behind Marco Best Photography by Camera Collin and a longtime Marco Island resident.
For more than 20 years, I’ve called Marco Island home. Growing up here gave me a deep appreciation for the Gulf Coast, its sunsets, the water, and the people who make this community so special. It also means I know the locations, lighting, and timing that can turn an important moment into something unforgettable.
How photography became personal
It began with loss.
My passion for photography didn’t begin with a camera. It began with loss.
I was incredibly close with my grandfather. We spent countless hours together, especially on the golf course, and he was someone I looked up to deeply. When he passed away from COVID during my freshman year of high school, I was only 15.
What affected me most was realizing how few photographs I had of the two of us together. Even though I saw him all the time, we rarely stopped to capture those moments—and once they’re gone, they can’t be recreated.
That realization changed the way I viewed photography. I made a promise to myself that I would help other people preserve the moments they might otherwise overlook, giving them something meaningful to hold onto for years to come.
Photography became more than a business to me. It became personal.

When I photograph a proposal, engagement, growing family, or maternity session, I’m not simply taking pictures. I’m preserving a chapter of someone’s life.
The look on your partner’s face when you ask the biggest question. The way your family laughs together. The anticipation of welcoming a new child. The way the sunset lights up the people you love most.
Those photographs become part of your story. Years from now, they may mean more than you can imagine.
That’s why I care about every detail—from helping select the right location and planning around the best light to making sure you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. My approach is natural, personal, and focused on capturing genuine emotion rather than stiff or overly posed photographs.

This island is home.
Because Marco Island is my home, I know its beaches, waterfront settings, sunsets, and quieter locations. Whether you’re planning a surprise proposal, celebrating an engagement, documenting a pregnancy, or bringing the entire family together, I’ll help you choose a setting that fits your vision.
My primary focus is proposal, engagement, family, and maternity photography throughout Marco Island, Naples, and Southwest Florida. I also provide select real estate and food photography for local businesses.
My goal is simple: to give you photographs that feel authentic today and become priceless with time. Because I know firsthand how important they can be.
